Managing Project Files #528

I'm really enjoying aider-desk and love seeing new features added! I'm having a little trouble with the Project Files browser. I can't seem to figure out how to update/delete files or reindex the directory. I've tried deleting the .aider files and folders from my project folder, but the file index seems to be stored somewhere else I can't find. This has caused a few issues where it's looking for context files in a subfolder, and I can't redirect it to the main project directory. Manually browsing for and adding the context files didn't help. I might be misunderstanding how the project files feature works: I usually just start a new project and point it to an existing folder with my code. I'm almost always starting from code I've already written. A way to rescan/rebuild the project file list would be super helpful. |

I am adding a refresh button to the Project Files section, allowing you to manually update the file list. Currently, the list is populated using Git commands, which means untracked files (those not yet added with
git add) will not appear. To address this, a toggle button will be introduced in the Project Files section. This toggle will allow you to optionally bypass Git for retrieving project files, useful for scenarios where you're not working within a Git repository or have other specific needs. I believe there's still room for further improvement, and I'll continue to monitor this feature closely while welcoming any suggestions.
