Nag-only, HW3 / MCU2 - working?

I found this project when looking for something more open-source than the TSL chips, plus, I don't like the idea of seeing the volume change pop-up in my instrument cluster, which is a distraction (and it also changes the volume of my BT connected phone, more distractions).

It seems that this is very much a work in progress, and the information isn't very clear. So I'll try to ask some clear questions:
I'm in the USA, with FSD included option. I am only looking to remove nag on my 2017 Model S, which was previously upgraded to HW3 and MCU2.

1. Is nag (only) feature working on HW3/MCU2?
2. Do I need one CAN device or two? (If two, is there any code for Lilygo T-2CAN?)
3. Which bus/pins would I need to connect to?

I'm trying to understand status and what hardware I need to purchase.

Direct answers:

1. Yes, nag-only works on HW3/MCU2. The nag killer needs no FSD entitlement — it works on any AP-capable car. And unlike the TSL-style chips, ours doesn't touch the scroll wheel or volume: it echoes EPAS torque on 0x370, so you won't get the volume-change popup or Bluetooth-volume side effect you're trying to avoid.
2. One device is enough. The nag killer is single-bus read-modify-retransmit on one CAN channel — no MITM, no second tap. A single-CAN board is fine and cheapest: M5Stack ATOM + ATOMIC CAN, or a LILYGO T-CAN485. The T-2CAN is dual-CAN and works too, but you'd only use one channel for nag.
3. Bus/pins: the nag lives on 0x370 (EPAS3P), which is Party/Chassis CAN, not Vehicle CAN. A 2017 Model S/X predates the X179 connector, so the X179 pin table doesn't apply to your car. Best path: if your MCU2 retrofit exposes Service Mode, use the CAN Port page to see which pin carries Party/Chassis. Otherwise tap a gateway/diagnostic pair and confirm in Listen-Only that you actually see 0x370 (plus 0x399/0x39B DAS_status) before enabling Active — if 0x370 isn't on the pair you tapped, the nag killer has nothing to echo. Post a short Listen-Only candump and I'll confirm you're on the right bus. The 2017 S/X pinout isn't in HARDWARE.md yet; if you pin it down we'll add it.
