How to Fix Terracing/Stair-Step Artifacts in Cesium Terrain #8824

When loading cesium terrain via MapLayerWidgets, I'm experiencing "terracing" or "stair-step" artifacts where the terrain surface appears with unnatural steps/terraces instead of smooth slopes. This issue is particularly noticeable at distance or from certain camera angles.

Those ugly vertical cliffs are "skirts" that help hide gaps between tiles. They are normally hidden by the surfaces of adjacent tiles. To me, it looks like one or more tiles failed to load or display, producing a gap. Can you check the browser's network tab for any failed requests and post them here? |
