Use native JS krb5?

I just found this package and I'm excitedly watching it to see where it goes. I'm wondering if you've considered using native JS krb5 instead of emscripten? There's already a pure-JS implementation of krb5 + gss at:

Hi, yeah i was aware of that implementation, the idea was to be based, at least partially, on upstream MIT for better maintenance and updates. That said, it would need some work, not sure if I'll get to it tbh.
