Do you generate an app.src by hand for hex or is there a way to do it automatically?

@benoitc As fas as I know, the .app.src is required for every OTP application library, so the author of the application should be responsible for creating it. Under what circumstances would it be necessary to automatically generate the .app.src?

@jfacorro erlang.mk isn't http://erlang.mk/guide/building.html#_application_resource_file So maybe having a way to set maintainers, links, license and other metadata in the .app via the Makefile variables could be added?
