Loading Overlay randomly appearing, although nothing is loading

Describe the bug
Greyed out "Running" overlay appears over the site, even though nothing should be running / was triggered

To Reproduce
Can't pinpoint when its triggered (maybe randomly / automatically independent of user input).

Expected behavior
No overlay appearing

Running on docker
though overlay appeaers, user input and buttoms still work

Maybe unrelated, but in previous versions, the dashboard seemed to load much faster. Now it needs some kind of start up time, where just the running overlay appears but no UI for input yet. Does occur everytime the site is loaded (i.e. new tab, F5) not just on first access.
