I use Stellarmate OS, and have done that for some years. I have dropped the image part as I do not get the Pentax-drivers to work with my K3ii.
After retirement I spend 3 months in Thailand each winter, doing astrophoto from my house, and if possible I would like to help testing the Pentax-driver sp it can work again. (Some 5-6 years ago Jasem Mutlaq helped me get a working driver for Pentax K5, but whenever trying in recent years, it fails.) Pentax Native and Pentax Legacy both recognize the camera, but fails in bulb mode. Gphoto seems to require a trigger cable to work.
Is somone interested and have the capacity to solve this, or is this case dead? I can do some testing and file reports if needed.
If anybody have information on how to make a triggercable needed fo Gphoto it would be great.
