Bash Completion Not Working

Install: pip3 install td-watson
Version: Watson, version 2.1.0
Downloaded watson.completion to /etc/bash.completion.d/watson (as root)
Restarted shell...
Tried in both gnome terminal and alacritty...

Issue: tab completion does not produce any results (nothing at all)
