What happened?

When I try to create a shortcut on my launcher to the Messages shortcut target on this app, clicking the shortcut simply crashes, briefly showing a white screen before closing the app.

Steps to reproduce

1. Add the app to your homescreen
2. On the standard Android launcher, long-tap on Instagram and tap "Messages" (This step may be different on different launchers)
3. Observe

Expected behavior

Using the Messages shortcut should always open the messages window, without crashing the app.
