Is HPKE implemented?

Sorry for this, but I am a little confused.

• There exists this issue which was closed as completed: New feature: Hybrid Public Key Encryption #1044
• HPKE is on the 1.0.x roadmap https://libsodium.gitbook.io/doc/roadmap

But that is all I can find regarding HPKE.

The fact that the issue was closed as completed has me hopeful...

Is HPKE already supported in libsodium? If yes, could you kindly point me to the docs because I can't find them for the life of me.

I didn't see anything about that in the documentation.

The issue from 2021 was automatically closed due to inactivity.

HPKE is not implemented. But I'd love to implement it, as this is a very useful protocol. I have implementations on Zig and Go, though.
