Description
I am getting this error upon startup of the extension

   TypeError: can't access property "removables", dockManager is null

OS and Shell Information
Please provide your OS name and version, GNOME Shell version, and the session type (X11/Wayland).

• OS: Arch Linux
• GNOME Shell: 49.1
• Session type: Mutter (Wayland)

Steps to Reproduce
I have no idea how to reproduce, it was working fine until it wasn't.

Expected Behavior
Hanabi Extension should start but it doesn't. I just get the error in Extension Manager.

Actual Behavior
Hanadbi doesnt start

The same on Ubuntu 24.04 + Gnome 46.

Happens to me each time i lock in and log back.

After editing gnomeShellOverride.js _reloadBackgrounds function with try+catch block around Main.overview._overview._controls._workspacesDisplay._updateWorkspacesViews(); and suppressing the exception it works again.

I’ve submitted a Pull Request to fix this by wrapping the failing call in a try catch block. It has been tested and confirmed working on Ubuntu 24.04 (Wayland).

I was able to fix it by opening
~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/hanabi-extension@jeffshee.github.io/gnomeShellOverride.js

and applying the changes which you can check here:
( near the top of the file )
