Bug Description

Part of the channel logo is missing.

Steps to Reproduce

There is not enough space to include the logo + ch # and name.

Not sure if I should remove the channel name or there’s a fix for this?

Expected Behavior

On android the channel number is place under the name and logo on right. On Roku, The channel name could be place under the ch number.

I haven't been able to reproduce this locally.

The Roku docs mention that scaleToFit (which used by the channel logos) is not supported on all devices. Is your Roku hardware one of the mentioned devices?

This field in not supported on Liberty and Littlefield devices for images that are both scaled and rotated. On these devices, scaled and rotated images appear as if the scaleToFill property was applied to them

I use threadfin which I include the logo and name. My Roku is a 3820x streaming stick 4K.

Schedule direct use logo size 320 x 120 pixel which I use to import my logo. I think Roku has an issue when the logo is too high on pixel and are not square.

Accordingly to google AI, Roku reserves a smaller square-ish space for logos (roughly ~90–100 px high). When a wide logo like 320×120 is scaled down:

•	Roku scales to fit the height
•	The width becomes too wide
•	The UI clips the left edge

So you end up losing about ¼ of the logo on the left.

What usually works best

For the guide in Jellyfin on Roku, logos around:
• 200 × 80
• 180 × 60
• 150 × 60

I will do some test by reducing the size on one logo and see if that fix it.

The channel logos are configured to use scaleToFit, which is supposed to scale the image down to fit and leave empty space on one side or the other if the aspect ratio isn't right. I'm not sure why this isn't working for you. I'm hoping one of the devs will have suggestions.

I will do some test by reducing the size on one logo and see if that fix it.

It will be interesting to see what happens if you try different sized logos.

I did a few test by reducing the size and it did not fix it, except having a poor image quality. I even tried a square logo with no luck.

I also removed the channel name on theadfin to see if it will give more space for the logo but no, the logo stayed where it was. The weird part, the channel number duplicated. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The space where the logo goes is smaller compare to the one which contains ch# and name. Not sure if it's possible to add the ch# first and the logo after without the channel name? That's how they do it with other iptv for Roku.

The configuration options coming in #790 might get you closer to what you’re after but I still can’t reproduce the logo cropping issue.

I tried hardcoding the logo width to much smaller than the height and hardcoding the height much smaller than the width. Both cases scaled the logo down within the smaller test area without cropping.

I see cropped logos in the screenshot on #788 also so that’s two known occurrences. Hopefully someone on the dev team has a suggestion.
