VP9 HDR files colors look washed out in Tizen's native Web Engine

I'm using a Tizen 9 TV. When I played any VP9 HDR files, the colors look washed out, and the TV is not switching to HDR mode when viewed in settings. Other codecs (HEVC & AV1) HDR playback are working fine. Is this a limitation in Tizen's chromium web engine itself? because I tried playing it with a simple web app using shaka player and got same results. The same video plays fine if I played it with the Samsung native player using USB/DLNA playback. Then I further tested by running the video in a simple video player written in .NET using the Tizen.Multimedia.Player framework and I was shocked to see the video was played perfectly there. So, it confirms that the TV's inbuilt web engine is not properly passthrough the HDR metadata to the TV's hardware decoder.

Could anyone having TV's lower than Tizen 9 test any VP9 HDR files? I need to know whether it is the same for previous gen web engines too or Samsung deliberately dropped support for it.
