🐛 JSON value extension error: PropertyNotFound("/candidates/0/content/parts/0")

Bug description

Using gemini 2.5 flash, whenever a conversation gets sufficiently long, exec_chat starts to sporadically fail with this error. Sometimes it's possible to get it to generate a response by retrying a few times, but usually that doesn't work. I'm using the free tier and I'm not running into any ratelimits.

(Just dropping in to add a clue.)

Usually PropertyNotFound("/candidates/0/content/parts/0") seems to appear when Gemini returns something like:

"finish_reason": "..."

...instead of returning content. Probably this means that we code to check for finish_reason and other edge cases, and raise errors as needed. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with all the details here.

@emk I think you are right. The trick is to know what is the finish_reason in this case to handle it and return the error.

But I did not manage to reproduce (did not try very hard though).

Need to think about this one. Perhaps, just doing if finish_reason contains error then return error.
