Timeout on request

Followed the instructions on https://jkcoxson.com/jitstreamer, uploaded my pairing file an got the config file for WireGuard.

Imported this and activated the tunnel, then started the downloaded shortcut.

But this always gets a timeout for request on http://[fd00::]:9172/version. This is also the case when i try to open URL in Safari.

What is wrong, what can i do? I am on iPad OS 18.3.1

The version doesn't output anything. Try http://[fd00::]:9172/hello

Same issue in Safari with this link. VPN is on, Safari loads a while, then says: Page could not be opened because the server does not respond any more.

It is possible that we are slamming against some sort of technical limitation of WireGuard. There have been quite a few reports in the Discord to brush it off as network restrictions.
Unfortunately, I do not have a solution, and cannot reproduce it locally. As such, the only solution I can give right now is to host your own server.

I had the same issue, running jitstreamer-eb in a docker container on MacOS. Weirdly enough changing the docker-compose to

        network_mode: bridge
        ports:
            - "9172:9172"

worked, and I got through the subsequent steps until the /mount/step, where something (I suspect unrelated) broke.

Yeah thanks, the bridge thing helped me on an error on my self hosted server, where it stuck on a message in the shortcut that says: You are on position 0. After changing the docker file it successfully runs to the end and enabled jit.

Yeah I had the same error changed to bridge got this error then ● [ERROR] Error launching app com.kdt.livecontainer on 00008030-001925EA2233C02E: {'NSLocalizedRecoverySuggestion': "The app must be debuggable and signed with 'get-task-allow'.", 'NSLocalizedDescription': 'Permission to debug com.kdt.livecontainer was denied.', 'NSLocalizedFailureReason': 'Unable to acquire task port for PID: 4344'}

This means that the app itself(not jitstreamer) needs to support jit (or depending on how you installed it)
