As you can see the frontend editing is not the best but I do not know if it is jdskillset or JDseattle that is at fault.

I'd blame the both. Since it's bootstrap 4, it doesn't retain all the classes and JS Joomla needs to create fancy radio buttons and everything.

I'd say try to stick to backend editing for now may be?
