Today I decided to go ahead and merge the phoenix branch into master. There are a few outstanding issues which will be addressed shortly which pertain to the portal including a couple broken performance graphs and links appearing to advanced features which should not be displayed when a lite installation has been installed. These issues will be addressed in a soon to be released patch version of v2.8.x. Other than that, things appear to be in working order as far as everything else is concerned. Although it is not currently at 100% it should be in a much more usable state than the previous version located in the master branch.
It should be noted that there will not be an image release for v2.8.0 due to the fact known issues still exist in the HTML making up the portal. Once the master branch contains the code fixing these issues, I will create an image release and make it available for download as I have in the past. A branch which will contain these fixes has been created named phoenix-fixes.
As mentioned in the previous announcement I went ahead cleared out the issue tracker in order to clear the confusion which may arise from the multitude of issues opened during my time away from the project. Most all of these are addressed in the code merged into the master branch. Feel free to begin posting issues experienced while utilizing the code available from here on out.
Here is the CHANGELOG entry for v2.8.0 which now resides in master.
