Misleading error message

Great tool!

Working with some cases found the following recurent error

ERROR:root:An unexpected exception occurred with with Gal(a1-6)Fuc. This glycan cannot be parsed. Error message: GlyLES can only link monomers with N-glycosidic linkages and O-glycosidic linkages.

where IUPAC is indeed invalid because of missing C6 in Fuc

Please excuse the slightly (😅) late response, and thank you for the feedback.

Unfortunately, I don't understand what you mean by "misleading error message" here. As you say, Gal(1-6)Fuc is an "invalid" molecule, and GlyLES cannot parse it, because you would need a C-C bond where you would expect a glycosidic linkage.

Would you expect GlyLES just to output a different error message, or to show different behaviour?
