Audit and improve vendor database with real pricing data #2
Description
Problem
Current seed data has unrealistic prices (e.g., $1, $50 for photographers). The vendor database needs real-world pricing data to be useful for wedding planning.
Scope
- Research real NSW wedding vendor pricing for all categories
- Update seed data with realistic price ranges (prices are stored in cents)
- Add real service areas, websites, and contact information where possible
- Ensure vendor descriptions reflect actual service offerings
Categories to audit
- Venues
- Photographers
- Caterers
- (Future categories as they're added)
Notes
- Prices in the database are stored in cents (e.g., $5,000 = 500000)
- Focus on Sydney, Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, South Coast, and Newcastle regions
- Consider adding price tiers (e.g., base package vs premium) where applicable
