Cannot Flash to Gemini Dawn

OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Board: Gemini Dawn
Issue: Board is not able to be flashed by the software.
Error:

ERROR: No DFU capable USB device available

Exited with code 74 (dfu-util could not find device in flash mode)

Troubleshooting:

• Rebooted PC
• Re-installed software
• Used both kiibohd and Maxgear configurators
• Manually installed dfu_util
• Verified drivers in settings of configurator
• Re-installed drivers
• Confirmed board was in flash mode

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

OK so I found this trolling through the issues requests in the forum. It was in a random thread related to a different issue for a different board but hey, it worked. I am not sure if adding other terms to this post will get people from google here but, if you are trying to fix a No DFU capable device available issue with the gemini or other keyboards, try this: #110 (comment)
