Facett is an iOS app for controlling multiple GoPro cameras via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored.
Facett does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All data stays on your device.
Facett uses Bluetooth Low Energy to discover, connect to, and control GoPro cameras. Bluetooth data (camera names, serial numbers, connection identifiers) is stored locally on your device to maintain camera groups between sessions. No Bluetooth data is sent to any server.
Facett optionally uses the microphone and on-device speech recognition to enable voice commands (e.g., "start recording", "stop recording"). Voice audio is processed entirely on-device using Apple's Speech framework. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Facett sends control commands to your GoPro cameras (start/stop recording, change settings). It does not access, download, or process any photos or videos stored on the cameras.
All app data (camera group configurations, settings preferences, camera identity mappings) is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms (UserDefaults and the app's Documents directory). No data is stored in the cloud or on external servers.
Facett does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Facett does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
Updates to this privacy policy will be posted in this file and reflected in the App Store listing.
