KubeArmor Community Code of Conduct

KubeArmor follows the CNCF Code of Conduct without modification.

All participants in project spaces — including the GitHub organization, the Slack workspace, community calls, mailing lists, and in-person events held under the KubeArmor name — are expected to read and follow it.

Reporting a violation

If you experience or witness behavior that violates the Code of Conduct, please report it through any of the channels below. Choose the one you are most comfortable with. Reports are taken seriously and handled confidentially.

Project-side reporting

  • Email the project Maintainers privately at support@kubearmor.io, or contact them individually using the addresses listed in MAINTAINERS.md.
  • If the report concerns a specific Maintainer, please send it to at least two other Maintainers, or use the CNCF reporting path below to bypass the project entirely.

CNCF reporting path

You may report any Code of Conduct violation directly to the CNCF, especially if the report concerns project leadership:

What happens next

  • Project Maintainers acknowledge reports within 5 business days.
  • Reports involving a Maintainer are escalated to the CNCF for impartial handling.
  • Outcomes range from a private warning to removal from project spaces, depending on the severity and pattern of the violation. Decisions follow the sensitive vote class defined in GOVERNANCE.md.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies in all project spaces and when individuals are representing the project in public spaces — for example, when using an official project email, posting via official social media accounts, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or in-person event.
