I appreciate PKhex tool but it has some quirky issues that irritate me and an overlooked patch note for Z-A 2.0.1

i cannot add a valid Milotic using the tools db menu even using the new/latest PKhex. If someone has a legitimate traded Milotic then just use the PKhex to save the data and use that info in PKhex. Hello? i can contribute my save files if needed but Milotic is a trade only acquisition.

I notice an issue with Rayquaza obtained from actually playing the game. I have captured Rayquaza which is at level 85 when captured. Viewing the boxes in PKhex shows a valid encounter (as expected) but I always get an error 'cannot find a valid encounter' in this game message every time that i try to use PKhex to change the level to 100 and manually edit the EVs (in ordef to avoid using rare candies and vitamins). This error doesn't happen with any other Pokemon. What gives? can someone fix this.

Does anyone know of a place to dowload valid Pokemon files? click view on a Pokemon and it shows the data in the left pane. right-click on the Pokeomon's icon and select save as to make a save file of the valid Pokemon. Anyone know where to download these files or has noone thought about sharing valid Pokemon files yet?

Sorry to tell you that all of your criticism is a lack of understanding of how the program works. I will address your points one by one.

The latest release is not the same as the latest commit. The release did not include the mega shard change, which required a major bag refactor. If you want the latest commit, build it yourself, use the development build, or wait for the next release.

A Pokémon that evolves via trade evolution must have evidence of being traded. You cannot simply change the species to Milotic. You must also set the handling trainer information as if it has been to another save file before. Googling this problem shows how to fix it. Alternatively, trade a Pokémon to someone else and back to observe how the trainer tab is changed.

Not enough information to know what you did wrong, so I will guess. You cannot simply edit a Pokémon to level 100. Its Plus Flags (on the Moves tab) will be set as it levels up. If you do not understand how to set all the Plus Flags properly, then give yourself the candies and level it up in-game, then compare.

Google, Project Pokémon. Plenty of places share files. This repo is for discussions and problems with the code, not for user support, so files are not provided here.

If you are going to claim to be friendly, then drop this entitled attitude. Take some time to search for your problems and understand how the program works before demanding that we fix things that are actually your skill issues in the first place.
