Jan 7th update to django-otp replaced _verify_user with _verify_user_sync

Getting the following error on my production server:
AttributeError: 'VerifyUserMiddleware' object has no attribute '_verify_user'. Did you mean: '_verify_user_sync'?

Can confirm of this issue. The only workaround was to copy the middleware and replace the line with _verify_user_sync . Works fine after that.
