Several chat messages not showing in chat box (only after refresh)

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Play a game of chess and enter the analysis board
2. Write some chat message
3. Every now and then chat messages fail to show up even though typed into chat box and entered
4. Refresh of the site makes it appear in the chat box

What did you expect to happen?

For some time now, I have realized every now and then chat messages (roughly 25% I would assume) not appearing in the chat box even though it was sent properly. To me as an active player in the 4545 community, this is very irritating as it prevents smooth post-mortem conversations with my opponents.
I added a link in which another person had the same issue in their post mortem chat (See GoneNowhere's last messages).

What happened instead?

Chat messages don't appear and only become visible (at least to me) after refreshing - same for my opponent's messages!

Not really a bug ... the chat is based on the websockets
If you are disconnected, the chat won't be updated

Did you see the 'reconnecting' popup?

It definitely didn't use to be like that, it's definitely a bug you can't see part of your own and your opponent's messages in chat. And it's not a connectivity issue with the websocket, I'm not the only person experiencing problems with the chat box as of recent, I've talked to several of my opponents who've experienced the same.
That is, I'm not offered a reconnect option, which would for example be the case of major package losses or my WiFi losing connection altogether. My connection was perfectly fine in all those instances. For some reason, your chat box is not a perfectly reactive component anymore. I'm assuming syncing issues with your backend.
