Is tmail handling shared folders?

Hi,

I'm trying to use it with starwart "group" feature (a separate inbox that is seen as a shared folder on imap)

On tmail, I see the "personal folders" on the left hand section, but don't seem to add/find the shared folders

Is this an existing feature to handle shared folder and is there something else to do to enable it?

Twake Mail frontend support shared folder when used on top of Twake mail server using this extension. We do not plan on contributing shared folder support for Stallwart but feel free to contribute it if you need it.

For my email Setup I need the team-mailbox to work with stalwart groups. I already confirmed, that all accounts are available in the code itself and I could use it if I change get personalAccount so a different account is used instead (at least for some actions). However the team mailboxes aren't shown in the UI. I'm trying to figure out where exactly I need to implement the necessary changes but I couldn't figure it out yet. May you can provide a summary how to do the changes and where the changes needs to be done?

Hanlding multiple mail accounts is a feature meant for delegation in Twake mail, and not implemented yet.

We plan to work on it S1 or S2 2026

I believe it would be reusable for Stallwart groups that would be handled like a delegation.

In the meantime, contributions on this topic are welcome ! (Mail account selector on the top right menu + full page reload and trashing cache upon account switch maybe?)

I think it depends on the exact implementation plans. Stalwart groups are more like shared mailboxes than an individual account (so login works with personal account and not with a group account). So I think the already implemented "team-mailbox" feature can handle the stalwart groups. However (as far as i know) the feature relies on urn:apache:james:params:jmap:mail:shares extension, which is not available in stalwart. So I think the only thing to do is get the "non personal" accounts from the session request into the BaseMailboxController.teamMailboxesTree but I don't find the right place to do so.

I'd personnally prefer axplicit account switching rather than adding stuff in the mailbox tree.
