Summary

Group wants plant and soil data that are from the same sites (and same 40m^2^ plots) same years/months. McKinley Nevins (MN) wrote some initial scripts for this but encouraged me to take a different stab if need be

Download Script Variant Created

Just finished my effort at a 'download NEON data' script and made use of a custom function that iterates across years to make it run a little smoother/faster. Running it now so may uncover bugs but I'm calling this facet complete for now.

Next Steps

• Review MN space/time intersection code
• Draft variant for identifying and filtering pairs of NEON data that have overlapping time/space

Finished--I think--the workflow that was requested of me. Sent a note to the group leadership (plus Greg Maurer; GM) so we'll see what they have to say about the draft scripts
