Metrics value of dewall_evcharger not/very rarely updating

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to figure out how i can improve the refresh rate of the metrics value of my dé EV Mobile 11kW Charger.
I already tried to set "force: true" on the dps 102 entry in the yaml file of the device. But it made no difference.
Currently it updates very slowly, most of the time not at all.
When I open the Tuya app, new data rolls in every few seconds.
I on a few discussions and issues I already read, that it can be difficult to get the desired effect.

Does someone have an idea?

When the behaviour changes after opening the app, there is usually a specific dp that is for setting the device to high refresh rate. Often it will timeout after 10 minutes or so. For devices that do not have a specific dp, it may be possible to force a refresh by setting one of the dps, such as sending "English" to the language select from an automation (even if it is already set to that).

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried that, but no luck. It feels like there is some hidden magic at play here^^
At least the current state is (charging, paused, etc) is promptly updated.
Just to make sure. It does not matter that the metrics value is an attribute of the status? The attribute metrics can get updated independently of the main status?

That does not matter, the attribute will still update even if the status does not change

I got it to work on my Dé EV portable 11kw charger by trigger dpid188. This enables dpid102 metrics for about 30seconds.

#4314 <--- all the dpid´s here worked fine for my model.
