is there possible to add own icon to the project?

as i already saw there are only one option: use some emoji as project icon. But i want set my own image as icon. Is there any chance to do this?

Right now, you cannot set a custom icon file (e.g., a PNG or SVG) as the project icon in Plane — you’re limited to:

Choosing an emoji for the icon that appears in the sidebar.

Optionally setting a cover/header image for the project, but that’s separate from the icon.

If your team really wants this, custom icons would need to be a product request/feature suggestion to the Plane team (via GitHub Discussions or official support). Many tools add custom image icons only after user demand, so posting upvote/feature request there helps priority.
