Bearer authorization support for http pmtiles

It would be great to support Bearer Authorization for e.g. PMTiles URLs.

This would make it possible to e.g. use the Databricks Files API to load a PMTiles file from Unity Catalog Volumes.

(We could already do this by reading the underlying S3 directly, but that would require possessing the AWS credentials then, which is not always desirable.)

Yes, would be nice.
We already have many features, but customising auth for http backends is not one of them.

Unfortunately, this functionality does not currently exist in the lib we use for this => https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs-object-store

I accomplished this yesterday with an Nginx reverse proxy and a PHP script. Look into the "auth_request" directive for Nginx. It sits inside the "location" directive - just make sure you pass your header in that same place, because Nginx tends to strip out headers.
