EVCC-like charge mode Buttons in HA

In case anyone else wants to also have the EVCC charge mode buttons to switch charging mode via HA, see below:

The following cards are used for this:

• card-mod,
• custom button card,
• horizontal stack.

Functionality:

• By clicking the mode, EVCC is triggered to change charge mode,
• the active charge mode is highlighted in gold
• the bar is not visible when no car is plugged in.

You need to adjust the entity to your charger mode-entity from EVCC in all cases, and in visibility use your evcc-connected entity (or remove the Visibility part),

This is probably not the best way to rebuild this (I think button card has also a grid option), but it works for me, and my wife likes it.

I like the plain and nice icons for example. I know the smartcharging one but not the cloudy sun for example.

thanks, I have the list of 7000 icons in my HA installation embeeded on the side panel to have access
but the key point for me was to have it 1:1 and all the details where icons is just one example, but also the yellow I guess to show that this option is active.

I had searched for "sun" for the 2nd icon and I also could not find the first one too.
but thanks for remindung me to check it myself even though why "sun" is not delivering any icon of these 2 at least

Wer den code kopieren will, kann der darf alle "evcc_carport" durch seine Wallbox Namen ersetzen.
Ich hatte ein Problem, weil es wohl ein Update gab und diverse alte Namen und Entitäten nicht mehr funktionierten oder "unavailable" schienen.
Lösung war ein löschen aller alten Wallboxen und Neu Anlage unter der ha-evcc Integration.
Da muss im Sommer irgendwas passiert sein, als unsere Wallboxen durch Firmware Upgrades seitens WALLBOX für die Pulsar Plus zerschossen worden waren und die behaupteten, da sei keine Garantie mehr drauf und wären unschuldig.

Jetzt kam dann eine Mail, sie hätten eine neue Firmware. Wozu, wenn doch keine Garantie drauf ist und es doch ein Kundenproblem sei.
Jedenfalls ließ sich nun das Upgrade installieren und oh Wunder, die Wallbox stellte die Verbindung zum Router her und hielt sie auch.
Vorher war das immer ein Werksreset, dann WLAN Verbinden, danach konnte man Firmware Update machen und nach dem Reboot ging die Wallbox anschließen nicht mehr ins WLAN.

Jetzt mit der Firmware geht es, aber wir haben den Sommer sozusagen verloren und damit auch evcc seitig verpasst, so dass ich updates und breaking events verpasst haben dürfte.
