Does Mavsdk support Ardupilot?

Does Mavsdk support Ardupilot? Or is it only compatible with PX4 firmware? If yes, please tell me the procedure to connect to the drone through udpout through Mavsdk from my laptop

I have been trying to connect my flight controller pixhawk flight controller from my laptop through Mavsdk
But unable to receive the heartbeat and telemetry data

In general yes. With specific functionality there might be holes that need fixing.

It seems like you can't connect, so then the question is how the Pixhawk is connected to your laptop and what settings you tried with MAVSDK.

I think it's usually more organic. There is no full time team paid by "someone" here. We are open to contributions and happy to help, and it's also possible to sponsor @julianoes if you want him to implement stuff for you.

This said, there have been people using MAVSDK with Ardupilot successfully for years. The best is probably to try it and see what's missing for your needs, and then consider how that could be contributed 👍😊.

We are using MAVSDK with both PX4 and ArduPilot. There are some gotchas with regards to offboard setpoints that are behaviorally different between the flight stacks that we need to account for. Generally, MAVSDK is equivalent for the common things we use, and MAVSDK currently has a more rich feature support than the ROS 2 support in ArduPilot.
