Hello first up love the app, but it would be good to be aware of how much involvement agentic AI has had in the development of this software.

Mostly because this is a security application due to the nature or proxying.

Can you let us know what tools you may or may not be using and how much input a human in the loop is having if any, or even if there is no AI/Agent involvement would be great to confirm.

Thanks for raising this - it's a fair question given that Muximux sits in the request path.

I'm the sole maintainer and every line of code, architectural decision, and security measure goes through me.
The project has comprehensive test coverage (86%+ backend, 87%+ frontend), CI with linting, static analysis, vulnerability scanning (Snyk, CodeQL, govulncheck), and the security model was designed against OWASP ASVS Level 2.

For tooling - my primary development environment is Claude Code backed by Opus 4.6, with MCP servers for browser automation (Playwright), GitHub integration, and other validation tools. It's a heavily assisted workflow, but all code is reviewed, tested, and committed by me. I treat AI output the same way I'd treat a pull request from a contributor - nothing ships without my understanding and approval.

If you ever spot something that looks off or have questions about how a specific part of the security model works, don't hesitate to open an issue. Always happy to dig into the details - I aim for Muximux to be as agood as it possibly can be given my preferences as a developer and what I think others might appreciate. I'll say however, with regards to the aims of this project, that I don't intend for Muximux to become unreasonably bloated or drift too far away from its current purpose. I want to feel Muximux is a solid piece of software over developing and imeplementing every conceivable idea - ie, I don't want this to also measure your net use, cpu load or harddrive space. I welcome suggestions for evalution though - and let users and myself decide together.
