Message encryption.

Hello.
I'm trying out the app. I do receive messages in the matrix room but they are not encrypted.

Is the encryption well taken into account by the application?

thanks for opening this! Message encryption is currently not supported, but it's something I would love to have in the code base. I'll keep this open to track that feature.

Unless I'm mistaken, it's the mautrix-go library that is used. And it seems to offer this possibility. (mautrix/go#3).

It would also be nice if the application could directly manage the use of a proxy to reach the matrix server.
Maybe by adding a proxy: option to the matrix part of the configuration file :

Yeah exactly - mautrix is used here and it has crypto support, so it's just a matter of actually using it in this app and exposing some configuration around it.

Wrt. proxy support: Can you specify the proxy itself as the homeserver-url? If not, what should happen if a proxy is defined?

The server hosting matrix-alertmanager-receiver is not configured to output to the internet. And the matrix server used is on the internet.

To make it work, I configure the system (linux) with the environment variable : https_proxy=http://x.x.x.x:3128.

I would like, if possible, matrix-alertmanager-receiver to be able to directly handle this kind of situation, using a proxy on its own to contact the matrix server.
And therefore without having to manage the configuration of the operating system via https_proxy or no_proxy.
