Good fit for a medium serious project? #1

Hi, first of all, its very exciting to see ring adapter for Helidon. I wanted to use virtual threads based server for my side project to not worry about async stuff and this looks like a good fit, and since its from metosin, thats also a good sign for me :)
But upon digging up a little, I also found hirundo which also seems to be doing the same and for a longer time. I just wanted to ask which one should I pick, if I plan to turn my side project into a low to medium scale web server in future. Are there any significant differences that you might be aware of?
