Adding intents for the app to use with Shortcuts or Alfred #131

Instead of opening the app and then setting the timer is too long a process even though the dev has optimized it with keyboard shortcuts. Adding preset timers, or custom methods to launch the app would be greatly appreciated.

Adding intents to the app.
I would like to use Alfred to launch a timer simply using timer 5 or timer 5.30. This would save me a few seconds.
Or a user could potentially use the Shortcuts app to set predetermined timers (like pomodoros of 25 and 5 etc) and then launch them quickly.
I would help write this feature but unfortunately I'm very new to the Apple ecosystem. Any advice on how to proceed will be greatly appreciated.
I was able to find docs for the App Intents which outlines how one might approach the problem.
