It is HIGHLY recommended that the MySQL setting named "restrict_fk_on_non_standard_key" be modified for compatibility purposes. To fix it, add the line
restrict_fk_on_non_standard_key=OFF

This is pending the ability to configure this setting at the MySQL Flexible Server level.
