Description
The displayed action history gets seriously garbled sometimes. It should, for every turn taken, display on one line the placement (or pass) and on the next line the move, both from and to (or pass). In this image, it shows that the number of turns is wrong, some actions aren't displayed at all, and others are munged into partial moves or whatever:
The actual move sequence (as output to console by the randombot itself) was:
Player black places a piece at C1. Player black passes on sliding. Player white passes on placement. Player white passes on sliding. Player black places a piece at C12. Player black passes on sliding. Player white places a piece at A6. Player white passes on sliding. Player black places a piece at E11. Player black passes on sliding. Player white places a piece at A1. Sliding from A10 to A4 moveError The server has rejected the most recent action. Player white passes on sliding. Player black places a piece at E12.
On browser reload, the history is displayed correctly (see second attachment). So the internal logic must be basically good:
The white moves in this case were supplied by the randombot; black moves clicked through in the user interface. Advanced validation is turned on for this game. (Game # 5797941e3a0ac6306cd86c11 ) This behaviour is evident almost immediately at the start of each game and continues throughout the game (including after reload, but each reload seems to reset the history display to a valid state).
