Selecting any other driver than "MacBook Air Speakers" (like headphones or Loopback Audio for example), gives me a "Sound driver initialization failed. Try different settings or driver."-Error

What is the issue here? What am I missing?

I have the same problem on an Apple M1 Pro MacBook Pro on macOS Tahoe 26.2 have you found a fix for this? Thank you ❤️

Seems to be caused by the external speakers not supporting any of the frequency options they provide :(
