Cursor disappears when "Insert picture" is clicked and cancelled.

Cursor disappears when clicked outside the editor then "Insert picture" is clicked and cancelled the popup file selection dialogue. The cursor is expected to be blinking in the editor as it was before clicking the "insert picture". But focus is still exists, all keys typed are seen. cursor is visible only after the key in from keyboard or mouse click.
My question is mainly on disappearing of the cursor even $(#editor).focus() is called. Focus is there but caret/cursor is not visible. I am using chrome browser.
