You can use the data pack generator and look at the loot tables for blocks as well.

Thank you guys so much its really helped a lot. I've learned a ton over the last couple of days. naming the item entity or block .json file was something so simple yet so complicated for me to initially wrap my head around. I still have one question regarding dropping enchanted items like armor. I used the enchant_randomly function and I was wondering if I could give a weight to the rarity of each enchant. would that just be adding a "weight": line to the code? well I guess I could just trial and error it instead of asking all of you here.

ok i would like to scratch those questions after about an hour and a half of tinkering i figured out how to do a lot of what i was initially asking in the 1st reply.

my only question as of right now is how would i make certain drops like say raw iron coming from a dirt block higher with fortune but not another item in the loot table.

use a block that has fortunable drops as a reference, and only have it apply that that one item in the pool

I literally cannot make any datapacks on here. everytime I try to fix something, the program decides, oh lets put this recipe as the text for this biome hehehe. lets put this terrain feature as all of the code for the entire project because why not

Hi, sorry to bother - came to the comments to see if I could figure out whether it was possible to upload an existing pack to this site so I can figure out how to tweak it. I have been planning a new Minecraft world, and your "To the max" pack is one of the absolute top contenders for worldgen, but I fear the scale is a bit too large for what I am looking for.

Is it possible/permissible to make the biomes smaller, and to make the generation form continents? If so, how would one approach these steps, including changing the size of the continents? Thanks in advance for your help.

I am the creator of JJThunder to the Max, and I've got exposed to data pack generation thanks to this awesome online generator.

I have been inspired to world generation and terraforming after terraforged became outdated during caves and cliffs update, so thanks to this data pack, I was able to make a prototype of my own.

Data pack generation has been my hobby for almost 5 years now, and my project has about 300k downloads. That's why I love misode data pack generator thanks to its awesome visuals and zero coding experience.

My major issue is recent: Whenever the user switches back and forth between saved files, the generator overwrites one file with another. It has been almost long time ever since I've updated my datapack, ever since v0.6.0, which took a massive hit from the community to the point where popular youtubers like asian half squat and raytraceforge dedicated a youtube video specifically for that.

Right now, it has been almost a year since my work is paused due to this major bug, and many of my fans on discord couldn't wait for me to update JJThunder to the newest version so that it can pe compatible with c2me ocl accelerator. Accordingly they started creating forked versions of jjthunder to the max for newer versions.

I would sincerely dedicate my special thanks to misode, the amazing coder who did an amazing job for my dreams to be fullfilled, and I hope this online website continues to evolve, so that more and more amateurs could get exposed to this wonderful invention and make minecraft a more customizable experience for everyone to enjoy.

Unfortunately, Minecraft dosent have a Feature that allows to have a Texture pack inside datapack. Thats just how Minecraft Works. If u wanna add Textures, make a seperate Resource pack.

grahhh 26.2 snapshot 3 broke like 3 of my enchantments cuz it overhauled how predicates work and itll probably take a bit for this to add 26.2 snap 3 support to the predicate and enchantment generators so i cant fix them until then

Hi, I'm new to the whole resource pack stuff and I've really only been using the "condition, when named x appear as x" pieces of the item generator. Is there a youtube video explanation somewhere for the rest of the item generator options? I clicked the wiki but was a little overwhelmed by everything

перемещение блоков (Moving Blocks) в ванильной игре.

Требования к датапаку:

Основная механика:

• Игрок ставит особый блок-активатор (например, блок изумруда или специально
  созданный блок), сверху на него ставит любой другой блок.
• При подаче редстоун-сигнала на блок-активатор верхний блок плавно
  перемещается на 5 блоков вперёд по направлению сигнала.
• Движение должно быть плавным, без рывков. Используй item_display или
  block_display сущности для анимации полёта.
• По окончании движения блок-сущность превращается обратно в реальный блок.

Технические детали:

• Датапак должен работать на версии Minecraft 1.21.1.
• Использовать только ванильные команды и возможности датапаков (никаких модов).
• Код должен быть оптимизирован, не нагружать сервер.
• Поддерживать все типы блоков (включая сундуки, печки, механизмы).
• При движении блок должен сохранять все NBT-данные (инвентарь, ориентацию,
  состояния).
• Предусмотреть проверку: если на пути есть препятствие, движение не начинается.

Структура датапака:

• pack.mcmeta с правильным форматом.
• Папка data/moving_blocks/ со всеми подпапками:
  • functions/ — основные функции (активация, движение, проверка коллизий).
  • advancements/ — триггеры для активации.
  • tags/ — теги блоков.
  • predicates/ — предикаты для проверок.
• Функция tick.mcfunction для постоянного цикла движения.
• Функция load.mcfunction для инициализации.
• Система тегов #moving_blocks:activator для настройки блока-активатора.
• Система raycasting для определения препятствий.

Интерфейс игрока:

• При установке датапака выдать книгу с инструкцией.
• Команда /trigger moving_blocks.help для вызова справки.
• Возможность настроить дальность движения командой
  /trigger moving_blocks.range set 10.

Дополнительные фичи:

• Режим "липкости": если двигать липкий блок, он тянет за собой соседние блоки.
• Режим "реверса": по второму сигналу редстоуна блок возвращается обратно.
• Звук механизма при движении.
• Партиклы (частицы) во время движения.
• Поддержка цветных маяков для указания направления.

Выдай ПОЛНЫЙ код каждого файла в датапаке.
