Data presented as 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Hello,

I have tried to use this code with my tf luna lidar sensor and arduino mega 2560. The code has compiled and uploaded, however when I open the serial monitor, it only shows a row of 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 for each timestamp. Do you have any idea of how to amend this so I can obtain some data?
