Unable to complete installation Steps

Problem

Upon trying to complete installation steps, I ran into this error. Tried restarting my CMD a few times as well as the PC as a whole. No success.

Having this issue as well. Above link does not solve anything as cookiecutter is run as a direct command and not a python module.

The current workaround is to type {} when prompted for _visual_studio. This tricks it into thinking you're inputting valid JSON and it won't complain if you do this instead of just pressing enter.
