run java programs on linux

every time i call doOCR method,the memory will become larger and larger
but,when i run java on windows,through idea,the memory is normal,why?

I am also trying to use this on MacOS, and I am getting the same issue, and will also eventually be running it on Linux. I call the doOCR method, but it never returns, and just keeps chewing up memory, eventually to the point the system warns me to terminate processes to ensure continued operation.

It also never actually returns from the doOCR call. I have no idea why it would be doing this.
