Consistent date input and output (Gregorian calendar) #8053
Description
Currently, when using the jQuery Datepicker, customers select dates according to the Gregorian calendar even if a different calendar is used in their country. However, the displayed date is formatted according to the regional calendar, which can be confusing.
Let's use the Gregorian calendar for all regions so that the date input and output always match.
