Tileset choice no longer works on recent experimental versions

As the title says, on recent experimentals tilesets can be chosen but the site will only ever display the ASCII. Likely caused by #81758

Is .github/workflows/compose-tilesets.yml now intended as the source of truth for future solutions (I am assuming yes)?

This implying an intended future solution(script) would be to parse and re-create workflow from there locally, to ensure parity if there is any changes and reduce duplication?

Not really. We haven't nailed this down yet and some convenience for downstream tileset consumers may show up in the repo, but it's not a goal to create a locally runnable identical version of the workflow. If you want to consume the DDA tilesets, a good place to get them currently is the tileset repo, where DDA CI also gets them from.

As an addendum, I'd love to hear ideas for how HHG as a downstream consumer would prefer to get the tiles, as they're not going to come back to being in-repo.
