not too many empties in the latest doc, the ones i do see we seem to be agreeing they're self-repeating.

Repetition rate has gotten my attention today, was trying to find an alternative term to refer to in one of the vocab sets, and the more I read the more it appears to be mis-cast in the SPOT documentation as 'The minimum uplink interval (or repetition rate) ... The typical rate for pinnipeds is 45 and 90 seconds, respectively. Turtles and sharks tend to have faster At-Sea rates (15-30 seconds) to increase the probability of multiple transmissions reaching the satellites.' (1) , but in satellite telephony, repetition rate appears to mean the frequency of the transmission itself, and is represented in kHz/MHz. If that's what it is, we can maybe borrow the alternate term Carrier Frequency to define it.

If we want to define the minimum uplink interval, let's call it uplink interval, as that's less overloaded term. It's got some situational settings that we might like to capture, but in that case we'll need to show them how to capture more information on what will cause a change in the uplink interval, e.g. haul-outs.
