Streamline Setup Instructions

2023 CANSSI workshop hit us hard with a huge time debt associated with setup. There were a few causes of this but a big recurring headache was that very few people seemed to have run the setup instructions before arriving. Since we can't enforce pre-workshop setup, we need to make running setup fast and easy, both to make it not daunting for students with limited R experience, and also to make it quick and easy for us to run for people in the pre-workshop phase. I have a few thoughts about how we can do this:

• Integrate R-Universe to make sure we have an up-to-date location from which we can refer to and install packages.
• Reduce overall number of OTW package dependencies.
• Wrap a one-line script around the 'setup' script so that rather than copying and pasting a big block of R code and running it, users can run one or two lines and quickly see which packages installed and which ones didn't.

We should also encourage users to bring us their errors if they run the script and it doesn't work.
