Proof QC Output

This is a fairly minor issue but one I believe is important- the file output for the QC process is not as clean as it could be, since it will add to- not overwrite- an existing output file with the same name. This is a small fix, but nonetheless, one I would like to get cleared up since it will improve user experience and make the files easier to find. The file name should also probably be changed. That can be supplied to the user as a parameter, I should think.
