• Environmental Data Overhaul

  Milestone to contain the tickets related to overhauling and globalising the environmental data processing capabilities in Remora. This is for post-Gold release so at this time no timeline is settled on.

• Remora Gold Release

  The set of features required to put out a Gold release of the global-scope edition of Remora. Since the immediate customer for Remora is Joy/DaViT, we should deprioritise the environmental data pulling/mapping workflow, since she doesn't seem to need that for the current application. We should focus on a clean stand-up of the QC pipeline with an associated R notebook distributed with the Jupyter notebooks. To this end there are three major pieces of work: - Ensure that the existing remora notebook (already written) can be installed and used easily, with minimal setup effort (might be a long install time but that's acceptable). - Resolve existing problems with GLATOS (make_transition2 deprecation) and ensure that the code can cleanly run the entire QC process from start to finish, producing a 'rolled' output file (i.e the output of Surimi's rollup function that contains the original detection extract and associated QC flags, the rollup function is written and QC has been made to work before so this is mostly an affirmation of the process). - Provide the option to pass parameters to the QC tests for which it makes sense so that users can provide values that are sensible to their study species (this is a big chunk of work but not a terribly difficult one since it is largely a matter of adding parameters to functions and exposing them to the user. The tickets in this milestone serve to further support the completion of the above tasks.
